MLR is self-installing, comes with online help files, and users need know nothing about DOS, accounting, or file maintenance to make useof the entire system. Requires 2 MBof hard disk space. Many of My Little Realm's programs may be purchased separately. Thesestand-alone modules, called sa's, can be run from either a floppy disk or a hard disk. Thestand-alone programs even make great gifts! They'll run on almost any kind of IBM compatible PC. -------------------------------------------------------------------- TheStand-alone Programs of My Little Realm Calling Cards. Calling Cards lets you access your phone/address database as if it were your own personal Yellow Pages. If you need a plumber, just tell Calling Cards to get you the numberof the plumber. And if you need labels, Calling Cards lets you put your records in either of two categories such as "Friends" and "Clients". All you have to do is put fanfold labels in your printer and tell Calling Cards which category you wantthe labels printed for. You can also printfrom one to 100 labels for a specific name and address, or you can even address envelopes. Charging. If you're the "typical" American family you have seven credit cards. Have you ever wondered where you stood with allof those cards? How much is out on this one or that one? Or allof them? Thepress of a single key in Charging will answer those questions. If you need precise tracking of your charging expenditures, Charging can show you how much you spend at specific stores or in given situations. This program is also known as the Charge Card or Credit Card program. Checking. Checking makes checkbook maintenance a breeze. You create the records of your checks, deposits, autowithdrawals, and so on with a minimum of data entry. A degree in accounting is definitely not required. Checking automatically balances your checking account and tracks your personal income tax deductions (or whatever else you tell it to keeptrack of). The Private Library Routine. The Private Library routine gives you the opportunity to put allof your personal volumes (books, cd's, video tapes, etc.) online. You can sort, search, view and printyour records in a variety of ways. The Public Library Routine. The Public Library routine lets you easily keeptrack of the works you borrow from your public libraries. It helps you remember when the books are due, and it maintains an historical log of everything you borrow. That way you'll always know if you've returned a book or not, and you can view, sort, search and printyour Historical file. Read More. The Read More program was developed to encourage young readers to go to their public libraries. Kids frequently complain that they can't find anything to read. Almost allof the titles that come with Read More are fun reading. They are not meantto replace the "suggested reading lists" proffered by grade school and high school English teachers. Read More was designed to encourage young readers by showing them a wide variety of new authors and works that they would enjoy reading. It comes with more than 1,000 titles that young readers can peruseand "check off" after they've read them. Books are listed by age groups. For ages 6 months to 18 years. Records of the Realm. "Memory" records created by the Records of the Realm Routine help locate importantdocuments in short order. This routine can also save you a lot of trouble and headaches should you ever lose one or more of your credit cards. It will automatically generate a list of phone numbers of allof your charge card issuers so you can quickly make the necessary calls to stop payments, printletters to those same issuers (required by most charge card issuers), and print labels for the envelopes. Savings. Savings lets you keeptrack of allof your savings instruments ... certificates of deposit, passbook savings, Keough plans, IRA's, and so on. It prints your savings portfolio, showing the total of the portfolio as well as the sub-totals by instrument. -------------------------------------------------------------------- My Little Realm/TheSystem You can purchase the entire My Little Realm system which comes with allof the above programs plus: 1 Main Menu.
